Tyler Needs Glasses

Last week when I took Tyler to his 5 year well check he failed his eye exam so we scheduled an appointment with the eye doctor. When I took him in yesterday he was diagnosed with amblyopia. (Ya, I didn't know what that was either. It's kind of like a lazy eye, but his eyes follow each other.) So now Tyler has to wear glasses with a patch over one eye (Arrr matey). The good thing is he only has to wear the patch 2-4 hours a day. So when we go places he just needs his glasses. The stressful part was the Dr. office quoted me $300 for the glasses. I almost died! Ben and I went down to Costco and they didn't really have any frames we liked but they were half the price of the Dr. office. Then we went to Wal-Mart and found glasses for $60!! So that is the story of Tyler needing glasses. We should get the glasses next week so stand by for pictures.
