Ogden

We went up to Ogden to "adopt a new baby" as Ben says. While we were up there we went to the Hill Air Force Base Museum. They had all sorts of planes and jets it was cool.

Ben's new baby. I know he will take really good care of it. I won't be surprised if gets up in the night just to make sure it's still there. For those of you who care it's a '03 KTM 525. If you want to know more you'll have to ask Ben.

Pioneer Day (July24th)

We didn't light any fireworks for the 4th so we did some for the 24th. We invited some neighbors over. I think I only spent $10 on the firework, but the kids were so excited. It might as well have been Christmas.

The Full Nine Yards (or Years)

Today is our 9 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated last night. Ben and I went to Harry Potter and I LOVED it. Ben is not a huge fan but he thought it was good. Then we went to dinner at Red Lobster. (Thanks Amanda for watching the kids). Here is a brief history of our lives:
- Met in an Early Childhood Development class at SUU
- Were married in the St. George Temple 6 months later
- Have 3 kids and 3 cats (That's right our neighbor is moving and I told her we would take her cats!)
- Ben's second love is dirt bikes, my second love is reading.

Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy

All Spring Grandpa wanted to take Tyler fishing and we finally went. We didn't have any luck at the cabin so we went to Kids Pond. They had a lot of small fish. Both the kids were able to catch one. We didn't keep them, because they were too small. It was a fun day.

"If You Could Hie to Kolob"

We went to Cedar City for the weekend. While we were there we went up to Kolob to the cabin. It had been 6 years since I had been there. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of that place. And I hope my kids can start having their own memories there.

Summer Fun

This summer is going by fast for us. For the 4th we had mom and dad up with us. They took most of the holiday pictures with their new fancy camera and I haven't gotten their pictures yet. The 4th was a fun day here are the things we did:
*Swam in a pool to keep ourselves cool
*The kids ran down the street after the Ice Cream man in their swimming suits
*Ate a Popsicle
*Had a yummy BBQ
*Went to Stadium of Fire and saw awesome fireworks
