4 months already??

Caleb had his 4 month check up this week. He went in a little early because he was sick and had ear infections. He is 14lbs 6 ozs and 26 3/4 inches. He is supposed to be close to rolling over, but he isn't so the Dr. told me to lay him on his tummy more. He is such a good baby. He is sleeping well and loves to laugh. He has also started to hold on to his toys. We sure love him and can't believe it has already been 4 months since he was born.

Nice weather

Here is Kaelynn and her friend Cole. We had some nice weather the past couple days and so I (with no help from Ben) set up the trampoline. Kaelynn and Tyler got to have some friends over to enjoy the backyard.


Here is Kaelynn and her "feel". She calls her blanket "feel" because it has a soft side to it that she likes to rub. Kaelynn's blanket is very loved. She has to take it everywhere (but we make her leave it in the car when we go into the store). She also claims she can't sleep unless she has it.

Here is our Valentine Dinner. Every year for Valentines I take the kids down to "The Balloon store" and they get to pick out some balloons. It's a simple, but fun tradition.

Happy Valentines Day

Here is Kaelynn and Tyler with my mom. We went down to Cedar City last week and they made candy necklaces.

For Valentines this year Ben and I went to a couples dance our Stake has at the church. The theme was "Sadie Hawkins" and they said "matching shirts optional". Well we didn't wear matching shirts and I have to say that I think we lost our dancing shoes. When we were dating (10 years ago) we went to lots of dances at SUU and Institute. Back then I thought we were pretty cool, but last night we were wall flowers. It was fun to talk to the DJ (he's in our ward) and he played some pretty good music from the 90's. We did have a good time and did dance a few times. The best part was just being with Ben. Tonight for dinner we are having stake and I am making the famous "Excell family Cheese Pie" (or cheesecake). Brother and Sister

This is me (Laura) and my brother Ben. He has joined the Army and is heading off to Basic Training at the end of the month. I am sure he will look a lot different when he comes home (a lot less hair). He has always been a great big brother. Gook luck Ben!!
