Cornbellys

We went to Cornbellys at Thanksgiving Point on Friday night. It was a lot of fun. We were there 3 hours, but could have stayed longer if it wasn't so late. (OK, so it was only 8 but with the little ones it was late.) It wasn't very crowed and I'm glad we went in the evening because they had a campfire, but we didn't stay for the ghost stories. It was a great way to kick off Halloween!!

Ben and his bike

Ben loves his bike. He spends A LOT of time tinkering on it. He got this crazy idea to glue a Red Bull on it, because he thought it would look cool if his bike looked like it was being fueled by Red Bull. (Will this man ever grow up?)

Caleb loves his dad's dirt bike

Look how funny dad is

"Caleb this a Red Bull. Isn't my bike the coolest thing you have ever seen!?"

BTW I tasted some of the Red Bull and it was like drinking a Pixie Stick. Nasty!

Kaelynn's pictures

Well, Kaelynn loves to take pictures for her birthday she wants a new camera. However she takes such funny pictures. Maybe someday she will be a professional.

"Hold still Tigress; good kitty"

"I love taking pictures of myself"

"I took this pictures because it makes me look tall"

"That dinner looks good mom, I think we should submit this photo to Betty Crocker"

"Under the bed is a good place to keep stuff that you don't know where else to put it"

New cat, haircut and piano

Holy Cow last week was busy. To start the week out I got a new cat because Tinkerbell ran away (still sad). She is so cute and her name is Tigress. I was going out of town for my friend, April's baby shower and I was also putting stuff together for Super Saturday to give to my other friend, Melody. In the meantime my mom and dad called and said "Grandma is giving us her piano and so you can have ours". Well I was thrilled to get a new piano so of course I said yes. While Melody was over getting the stuff for Super Saturday Kaelynn decided it would be fun to cut her own hair. Luckly our neighbor Becky fixed it up and now it's cute. Good thing too, because school pictures are on Thursday.

Here is a close up of Tigress. Kaelynn took the picture. She is such a good kitty.

Pizza for Breakfast

One of my all time favorite breakfasts is cold pizza. When I married Ben he thought this was strange and disgusting (some of you may think the same). For the pizza to be perfect it has to be room temperature. Not put in the fridge or heated in the microwave. The best place to store it is in a cold oven overnight and by morning it's perfect. (I know this does not meet proper food handing guidelines. But is it really that bad? Jamie you would know if I am at risk.) I am glad my children find this breakfast to be just as enjoyable. Sorry Ben, but cold pizza it is!!

Happy Birthday Benjamin

Today is Ben's 31st birthday. What a great time of life. He is an amazing person and an even better husband and father. He is working today, but we are going to take him some cake. Here are some things about Ben you may or may not know:
~Loves dirt bikes (if you don't know this you don't know Ben)
~Was a cheerleader in High School (LOL)
~Roller Coasters make him ill (but he still loves them)
~He requires 8-10 hours of sleep a day
~Loves to water ski, and he's pretty good too.
~He can juggle and do tricks with a yoyo
~Favorite color is green

I love you, Benjamin!
