The Things We Do

We have had a busy schedule lately, but it's been fun.
  • Kaelynn really loves 1st grade. So far we haven't had any problems at school. (knock on wood).
  • Kaelynn made her 1st goal at her soccer game last week. She dribbled the ball down the field and kicked it in. She was so happy. She told Ben "I am going to try to make a goal every game"
  • We went to So. Utah to see family and go to a baptism. We were only there 2 days.
  • I have started to teach Tyler a little bit of preschool, but I think I might find him a preschool to go to. He really likes being around other kids.
  • I have also started teaching piano lessons. So far I have 2 students (counting Kaelynn). I really enjoy it. Hopefully I can get a few more students.
  • I also have the best garden I have ever had. I have bottled some tomatoes and peaches. I hope to do some more tomatoes soon. We also have squash galore! We are also getting some strawberries, but Caleb eats them off the plant before we can bring them in the house. Fresh grown food is so yummy! Here is a sample of one my favorite dinners this time of year: Homemade hamburgers on the grill with fresh tomato, avocado, and cheese; zucchini and crookneck squash cooked with a few pieces of bacon: and potatoes cut up in slices tossed with Olive Oil and seasoning salt and baked (mock fries).

Old Spice | Questions

Here is Ben's favorite commercial.

Happy Happy B-day

Yesterday was Ben's 32nd birthday! We went to the Temple in the morning and then he took a nap in the afternoon. When Kaelynn got home from school we went to dinner and Zupas and then shopping at Costco. Not the most exciting thing we have ever done for his birthday, but still fun. Happy Birthday, Ben. I love you!
Ben and I love the Old Spice commercials so for his birthday I bought him some body wash so he can smell like an "Old Spice Man". It was good for a laugh. I guess the commercials work!
