Excell Girls Weekend in Vegas

I just got back from Las Vegas with my mom, Tana, and Sarah. We had a great time. My mom wanted to start a new tradition and go on a girls only weekend once a year. I started my trip by getting up at 5am on Friday to catch my flight. I got in Las Vegas at about 9am. I didn't have to wait very long before everyone else got there. We started out by going down the strip. It wasn't very crowded and the weather was good. We went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and had the Red Velvet cheesecake for dessert. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. After eating we decided to rest and then go shopping. That night we swam and talked until 1 am! Things got kind of strange at 1 am, but you know what they say "What happens in Vegas...." The next day Tana and I got pedicures. We shopped some more and then back to the airport for me. I had such a great time with some of my favorite people.

Pedicures!

The Strip - Sarah was worried that she would be the only one in L.V. with a stroller, but we did see 4 others.

On our way down town. The shuttle was great because we didn't have to drive and worry about parking.

The Farm and Museum

Tonight Ben was working so I took the kids down to the Farm at T-giving Point. They love going there. So far we love having a pass. Tonight was the Farms last Family Night activity night. They went on a Ghost, mummy, and spider hunt and then made ghost and spider suckers. They also got to milk a cow.

Here are the kids in front of Rexy. They loves Dinosaurs!

Cornbelly's 2010

We love taking the kids to Cornbellys every year. It's a great way for us to kick off October, Fall and Halloween. This year all the kids LOVED it and the best part was it wore them out so they feel asleep on the way home.
Here are the kids entering the corn maze. Ready? GO! Kaelynn led the way.

The duck races were fun.
The cow train - All aboard!
The jumping pillow is the favorite part of all of cornbelly's for the whole family.
I took this same picture las year and Kaelynn and Tyler haven't even grown that much. Maybe this year will be a growing year.

See you next year Cornbelly's!
