Last day of school

School is out and summer is here! Kaelynn had such a wonderful experience in Kindergarten. She learned so much and made some good friends. Here is Kaelynn and her teacher Mrs. Tame. Kaelynn loves Mrs. Tame.
I am excited for summer. I love summer time. Maybe it's because my birthday is in the summer. I love the lazy days, the relaxed schedule and the freedom you have to do stuff indoor or outdoor.

Ahoy Thar Matey!

Wednesday was Pirate day for Kaelynn's class. They are having "theme" days for the last week of school. She said they had a fun day going on treasure hunts and washing the tables and chairs. Just like real pirates. But she ate all the candy she found on the treasure hunt before she got home.

Kindergarten Program

Kaelynn had her Kindergarten program and it was so cute. Kaelynn is growing up so fast. She has had a wonderful year in school and learned a lot. She has also made lots of friends. This is her class.
This is the dress I made for Kaelynn to wear for her program. It is a little big, so she had to wear a t-shirt under it.
And here is me at my Kindergarten program! I found this old picture and I laughed, because my mom made this dress for me. I remember this day very well. When I look at this picture I can almost smell the gym at North Elementary.

10 Year Anniversary Cruise!

OK so our anniversary isn't until July, but we got a good deal to go on a cruise in May so we went for it. We went on a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Rivera on the Sapphire Princess. It was the funnest thing we have done. It was so relaxing and just great to spend time with each other. My mom and dad watched the kids so we knew they were in good hands and we didn't worry about them at all. I would recommend this to anyone. My only tip would be watch out because we gained about 7 pounds each. It looks like it's salads for us for the next month.

This was our first full day on the boat. It was a formal night.

Embarking Day

Our first day on the boat was so funny for us. We had never been on a cruise before so it was all new. We hadn't been on the boat for an hour and all these people are in their swimming suits and sun tanning. This guy was all alone swimming with about 1000 people watching him.

On the Boat

Here is the back of the boat.
Party Central!
The back of the boat had 3 pools. We spent one whole day swimming, reading and relaxing.
Beautiful Sunset

Puerto Vallarta

We did a horse back ride. It was fun going through water. We even got to swim bare back on the horses. But unfortunately Ben slipped and busted our camera, so we didn't get as many pictures and we would've liked. We were able to buy a new camera on the boat (tax and duty free!).

Mazatlan

We are ready to go on our zip-line adventure. We had to ride these jeeps up a steep hill.
Here is Ben repelling down the tree after we got done going on the zip lines.
Here is 1 of 9 zip lines we did. What a great time!

Cabo and last formal night

Cabo was so fun. We went snorkeling and saw some really cool fish. It was also our last formal night. We had been on the boat for 6 days.

Here is me on the beach where we snorkeled.
This is our ship the "Sapphire Princess"
Our last formal night. It was really windy

Coming Home!

It was so nice to see the kids and give then their souvenirs. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled them and they had a good time. In fact Caleb wouldn't even come near me for a whole day. All he wanted was "Bomp-pa"
Kaelynn got a fan and a green dress
Tyler got an "Indiana Jones" hat and whip
Caleb got maracas
