Ben and I saw a preview of "Where the Wild Things Are". Here was our brief conversation:
L: "Oh, I love that book".
B: "I've never heard of it"
L: "How did you pass Elementary without reading it!?"
B: "Maybe I read it and forgot"
So I Checked the book out from the Library and Ben read it to the kids. When he was done he said "Now when I watch the movie I can say 'The book was better'" He was saying funny stuff all day like: "I hope the movie is as good as the book" and "I hope they don't skip any parts". He thinks he is so funny, HA HA! I think he was so proud he actually read a book before watching a movie. Here is a link to the preview:

Funny posting!
Oh my goodness! I didn't know they were making a movie of the book. I love this book. I have been reading it to Madi lately and she thinks it is so funny.
I too want to know how Ben made it through elementary without hearing it. I'm sure he and Ty were goofing off somewhere cause I bet Ty doesn't know it either.
Sounds like Ben might be ready to read Twilight and watch the movie!
Ben is not the only one. I have never read the book either, maybe it is not in the Washington county curriculum. Goodluck with starting school.
Joe and I had a good laugh over this one. So, maybe the book isn't thrilling but it's a classic! I'm interested to see how the movie pans out. Your blog is way cute!
