Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there. I just want Ben and my own dad to know how much I love them. Here is a great video called "Let Us Be Men" There is also a video called "A Father Indeed" that is worth watching.
Today Ben started off his Father's Day in the right way. He went to work an overtime shift from 5am-7am to provide for his family. When he gets home we are all going to church and I'm sure Ben will come home and take a nap. For dinner Ben requested Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo, rolls and chocolate cake. I hope I don't gain 50 pounds. I love you, Ben. Thanks for being such a good provider. Here's one funny thing about Ben regarding fatherhood. Whenever the kids get hurt they always cry for dad. It doesn't matter if he is at work or out in the yard or even if they are on my lap when they get hurt. They ALWAYS seek him for comfort. I guess he has more compassion for them when they are injured.
I wish I could see my dad today (I will probably call him on Skype.) He wants stake for his dinner, but that is what he has wanted for his father's day dinner for 30+ years so no surprises there. Have a great day dad, LOVE YA!
