This is Kaelynn's room a couple night ago. I know I am not the best housekeeper on the block. I am probably average if not slightly below. But I was so mad at Kaelynn, because I cleaned her room last week and it look really good. I didn't know what to do, so I asked Ben and he said to put it all in a garbage bag and throw it away. I didn't think throwing it all away was good, but I liked the idea of using a garbage bag. The next day I told Kaelynn she had until lunch time to clean her room and whatever was left on the floor I was going to put in the garbage bag and she would have to earn it all back.
This is the result:
I was really happy with Kaelynn. She cleaned most of it herself. I did have to show her how to do a few things, but she was determined not to loose any of her stuff. (She is like me, we LOVE stuff!).

That is a good idea. It looks like Kaelynn is growing up.
Wow, good job Kaelynn! That is one clean room!
LOL! I love it! We did the exact same thing with our little ladies, and it worked wonders! I will never forget the both of them in tears, saying "this is the worst day of our lives"! LOL! It really does work though, so way to go my friend!
I like what you said to her. And it worked!! I'm sure it won't be the only time this will happen. we have the teenage years to look forward too. But you are better than me, I usually clean my boys rooms and throw crap away!
