Garden

This morning we went outside to check on the garden and we found green tomatoes, peppers, and a squash!!! Nothing is ready to pick, but it's a good feeling to know that something is working. We love our little garden. This year I have more pepper plants then tomato plants, so if anyone needs peppers let us know. Thanks dad for all your expert garden advice and the tomato cages.

Bike Parade

It was my week on Thursday for playgroup. We made star hats and decorated bikes. I had this great idea that we would all go on a bike parade when we were done decorating the bikes. I should have know better then to try to walk around the block with 6 kids age 4 and younger (we are missing two kids in the picture). We had only made it 3 houses away before I had 3 kids crying and the other 3 kids taking off at full speed! Thank goodness one of the moms was not too far off!

Summer Fun

The kids loves their pool and swimming. They go almost everyday. It's a special treat when Dad goes swimming with them!

Baby Gender Offical Results

Well it looks like the majority of people that voted on the baby poll were right. We are having another BOY!! The ultrasound went great and they said the baby looked really good.

Kaelynn's Dance Day

Kaelynn had her dance recital today and she was so cute. She loves to dance to any sort of music and sometimes she will sing her own songs while she dances. It was fun to watch her on stage.

Good Idea

Here is a picture of our front door with a wreath on it. I got this cool tip from a neighbor. If you go the bathroom section of the store you will find a plastic suction hook for about $2 and it sticks to your door and holds your wreaths. I thought it was a way cool idea so I thought I would pass it on. Maybe most of you already know about it, but sometimes I get excited over good cheap ideas! So far it has held the wreath great and hasn't fallen off.

Cedar City

We had so much fun in Cedar City. It was a very busy week. We celebrated my parents 30th anniversary, went to the temple and played with cousins. Here is Kaelynn and Tyler with some of their cousins and grandma. It was perfect weather for swimming, a nice 95 degrees!

Parade

We went to the Pony Express Days' Parade. It was a cold day in June, but it was sunny for the parade. Tyler loved to see Spider Man. They also had Batman and some princesses that Kaelynn loved!

Do you think we got enough candy?

Hogle Zoo and the "White Alligator"

We went to a bird show at the zoo. It was really cute. The highlights were a talking parrot, a bird landing on Amanda's arm (she sat right next to me) and an owl that looked like it was straight from Harry Potter. When the show was over you could donate a $1 but you had to hand it to a bird that would stuff it in the box. Below is a picture of Kaelynn on the elephant. I don't think she knew the water was going to go off.

When I told Tyler we were going to the zoo to see a white alligator that was all he could talk about. When we finally got to see the alligator he didn't want to leave. We stayed and watched it for about 20 minutes. (2 school groups came and left before we could get Tyler out of there). He was so interested in it.

Kaelynn dresses herself

One morning I woke up to Kaelynn wearing a life jacket and she had already fixed her own hair. I think she really wants Grandpa to take her to the "big water" in his "big boat"

Kaelynn better watch out or Texas might get her! (Pants with a dress where did she learn that?)

Baby Gender

I am so excited to find out what gender our baby will be. Our ultrasound is set up for June 26th. And, yes we are going to find out. We debated if we should find out because we have one of each, but I want to know what clothes to wash and want kind of name we need to pick out. We will let everyone know when we know. In the mean time let us know what you think!

Book Signing

This is me (Laura) with Shannon Hale
She is one of my favorite authors right now. We went to a Children's festival at the Provo Library and she was there. Brandon Mull was there too, (he wrote Fablehaven) but I didn't have any of his books to sign. Maybe next time!

Kaelynn and Tyler even saw an Author and Illustrator (husband and wife team). Caralyn and Mark Buehner were there. They LOVE their "Snowmen" books. They got to listen to Caralyn read their book "Snowmen At Night". It was great.
